I finally found time to see the Barry McGee exhibit at the BAMPFA, last week. So worth it, I've always admired Twist because of his ties to Bay Area graffiti, but what I enjoyed most about his work at the exhibit was how all his pieces downplayed the seriousness. It wasn't a pretentious atmosphere, it was actually funny how sarcastic it all was.
