I'm jaded to photography, which would explain why I don't make time for it, now. In today's age of technology, everyone is a photographer. We all have the ability to click, and voila, a crisp and clear image is recorded for your tumblr. Portraits all look the same; porcelain skin without blemish, clear and shiny eyes, obscene amounts bokeh that resemble abstract paintings, and al of today's fashion trends. Landscapes, technically and visually breathtaking, are still another picture of rocks and trees. Street photos are just that, blurry faces and faux black and white. Everything is plastic and perfect. Even film is edited through some sorts of software. I'm jaded and it put me off from something I love.
Make it personal.
I'd rather be ignored than be misunderstood.

notes
- GEAR DOES NOT MATTER
- The most competent is critical of their own work
- Stand alone photos are good, but a series is better
- Tell a story, a theme will tie them together
- Shoot it right and there will be no need to edit
- Have fun

Where you going with this, Ikea Boy?
I feel sick, the hard to walk and breathing is a chore kind of feeling. Then again MD 20/20 isn't the best source of hydration for a weekend. Last night's rest was the best sleep I've had in months.
I've finally committed myself to playing the guitar, after owning two guitars for years and trying to learn several times. I'm only learning really easy songs for now, cause I don't have all the time in the world for music, but I learned three different songs in a week. Stretch your fingers and wrist every night.
My mom works really hard, and I know that, but sometimes I need a reminder on just how hard she really works. You know "Rosie The Riveter"? Yeah that was probably my mom in her past life. I love you, ma.
Maix and I finally go to meet her newly born niece, Kaitlyn. Maix gave me a glance with Kaitlyn in her arms. It wasn't deliberate nor did her eye-contact last for more than a split second, but it left a lasting impression. I was reminded about how much more is in store for us, and that today's bullshit, won't matter soon. She's the only one.
Ikea is still a trap. However, Maix is slowly getting me to warm up to it.
